Printing was outsourced to the Florida Times-Union. At the time, Publisher Derek May said jobs would be lost, but did not say how many. “This will create a few jobs, and there are a few people the Times-Union is going to need,” May said in a story on the Record’s website. “There will be a net job reduction, but because of various factors I can’t say exactly how many.
